Program description

Turkana Food Inc is a food and grocery distributor. We operate an SMS program that sends operational delivery notifications to our delivery drivers, authorized staff, and delivery customers — delivery-assignment links (used to view the invoice and collect the customer’s signature) and delivery-status notifications (for example, “your driver is on the way”). This is a transactional, operational program — not marketing. We do not send any messages relating to alcohol, tobacco, firearms, or other restricted goods, and we do not sell alcohol.

How you opt in (consent)

Participation is completely voluntary. SMS is only an optional convenience channel. Drivers and staff who choose not to opt in still receive their delivery assignments through other means (the Turkana web portal or a printed route schedule), and customers who do not opt in are unaffected. Opting out — or never opting in — does not prevent anyone from working, from purchasing, or from receiving any product or service from Turkana Food.

You are added only after you choose to provide your mobile number to Turkana Food and give your express consent. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

  1. Drivers and staff may optionally provide their mobile number to receive delivery-assignment links by text. This is a convenience only; the same assignments are always available in the web portal.
  2. Customers may optionally provide their mobile number to receive delivery-status notifications about their own orders.

Consent statement:
“I voluntarily choose to receive operational delivery SMS from Turkana Food Inc at the mobile number I provided. This is optional, I can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and my choice does not affect my job, my account, or my orders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help.”

We never purchase, rent, or obtain phone numbers from third parties. Every recipient has directly and voluntarily provided their number and consented.
